Cannot start the Zettlr

I have tried installing the app several times but each time it starts I get an error message about "could not start ConfigProvider".

Also, for some reason when I tried to log in with my email address I got a message about being blocked! I can't think why.

Anybody got any ideas bout this?

Hi, if you get an error regarding an issue with "ConfigProvider", the simplest solution is to remove the config.json file. You can find instructions in the troubleshooting part of the documentation: https://docs.zettlr.com.

Then, do you mean logging into the forum? If so, I've seen a few instances where people got shadowbanned from the forum for no reason; I suspect a bug. If you send me an email with the address you tried to log in first, and a bit of context, I can take a look.

I tried to find the config file, but it is not here: /home/<your username>/.config/Zettlr.

I use Zettlr as a Flatpak app on Linux Mint. But not on which location the config file should be found. Someone any ideas?

I also tried to remove the whole app and reinstall it, but I think this doesn't remove the config file. I get the same error that I could not start ConfigProvider: Could not retreive container contents. Unexpected character after JSON at position 8662 (line 409 column 2).
