I have Zettlr setup using Zotero for citation management via Bibtex.
In the past I would start with the @ symbol and then start typing the author. When the correct Citation Key appeared I would hit enter (or arrow down to it and hit enter) and the Citation Key would be inserted. And then Zettlr would take care of the rest.
There seems to have been a recent change where hitting enter even with the Citation Key highlighted results in a line break, and the key not being inserted. I have to use the pointer and click on with the mouse/trackpad.
I am using Zettlr 4.7.0 on two Macs—one with latest macOS 26 update, and the other running the macOS 27 Goden Gate beta. Some experience on both.
Hope this is an easy bug, because it really interupts my hands on keyboard flow that I've come to love!
