Typing lag

I downloaded the latest version of Zettlr the other day, and I'm running into some performance issues. When I type, there's a noticeable lag between pressing keys (sometimes several seconds) and the text actually appearing on screen. It's making the app quite difficult to use at the moment. Didn't have any issue with 3.6.
Is anyone else experiencing this stalling issue with version 4?
For reference, my system specs are:

Operating System: Windows 64-bit
Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX (3.30 GHz)
RAM: 32 GB

My computer handles other applications without any problems, so I don't think it's a hardware issue on my end.

Just bumping this in case it got missed.

I’ve had to roll back to Zettlr 3.6, because version 4 has become almost unusable on my machine. I’m seeing frequent stalls and long periods of non‑responsiveness.

Since reverting to 3.6 everything is smooth again, no lag at all, so it really does seem like something specific to version 4.

Is anyone else experiencing this, or is there any known issue being tracked?

How long is the document in question, roughly? With extremely long documents, if you have the preview mode on, you will likely experience some lag. This should be much better if you turn off the LanguageTool and Markdown style linters (if you have them), and turn to raw syntax. That should make it faster.
