Minor LaTeX issue

LaTeX uses the underscore for making text subscripted. This conflicts with Markdown's use of underscore to italicize text.

Thus:
$FWE\ \alpha{}=1-(1-\alpha{}_s)^{(3^2-1)} = 0.337$
or about a 34% chance of bogus results.

becomes

I can work around it with a trailing underscore, but thought you all might like to know.

Comments

  • Yeah, the big problem is that the LaTeX-highlighting does not include mode-switching from Markdown to Latex, which results in such artifacts. I habe this issue on my mind, but don‘t know when I find a solution. The exports, however, should not be affected!
