terminal error message

Trying to open a specific file in zettlr from the command line:

~$ /home/david/Programs/Zettlr/Zettlr-1.8.9-x86_64.AppImage --trace-warnings /home/david/SyncthingFolders/zettlrEpsilon/FrontPage.md
(node:3023987) ExtensionLoadWarning: Warnings loading extension at /home/david/.config/Zettlr/extensions/nhdogjmejiglipccpnnnanhbledajbpd:
Unrecognized manifest key 'browser_action'.
Unrecognized manifest key 'update_url'.
Permission 'contextMenus' is unknown or URL pattern is malformed.
Cannot load extension with file or directory name metadata. Filenames starting with "" are reserved for use by the system.

(Use Zettlr --trace-warnings ... to show where the warning was created)
libva error: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/iHD_drv_video.so init failed

Should I report this as a bug or is this just a hiccup on the road to version 2?

(using nightly build at 2021-07-28 on ubuntu mate 20.04)

The result is that Zettlr opens, but without loading that file

  • The warning you're seeing is normal, I haven't gotten the chance to get rid of it but it doesn't impede functionality. With regard to opening, I've tested it and in today's beta it should work even from the terminal.
